Somewhere between your thoughts and words, that’s where I’ll lay my head. I’m everything you know and I’m everything you said. It’s not like I have been through this too many times before, there’s always something new and there’s always so much more. I guess I’m on my way ‘cause I’ve been packing up for sure, leaving known things behind. Straight ahead into a blur. I’m clearing up my view and look for truth to be seen. There’s truth in all our stories. There’s truth in all the means. Let’s open up these books and wipe the dust away. And fill the empty space of pages gone astray. Match the words with the pictures in the back of our heads, at the end of the day reoccurring in our beds. Trust me on this. I can carry you.

Why do we believe that living in isolation will save us when all it really does is keeping us from the things that we all need? Don’t try to make it your own, you’re still the same as I am and everything that we’ve already done still makes us who we are. And don’t try to tell me you saw this coming. ‘Cause if you really did why would you even try to change it after all? We all try to keep it clean, the colors are perfect on the outside. But what will we find hidden underneath once we start to dig? Every story has chapters unfinished, not ready to be told. And the art is not to love the casing but that which it holds.

We’re like snowflakes on a cloudy day leaving their memories as stains on the cold ground. Not sure if they’ll remain but trying our best not to be just ignored though. We are the waiting. We are the snowflakes falling down. We are the dreaming. We’re ought to stand our ground. The wind blows right through our bones as we try to get by and hold our direction. A storm breaks loose and we are few but we have what it takes to get by, we have heart. We have heart.

Magnet Pull 03:54
I guess it’s about time to break the rules ‘cause there’s no use in obeying them any longer now. So shut the door and turn the lights out. Let’s just hang outside, I got a world to show you. I guess this is the first time I’m ready for something this big so let me just catch my breath and I’m good to go. There’s times to waste and good memories to embrace, adventures to chase and days to remember. Will you stay by my side? We’re like the poles of a compass, guiding each other’s ways. I can feel the magnet pull. It’s bringing our hearts into line. You just took a step ahead and I followed on. These waters are so far off the map, you know, there’s reason to believe we’re finally on course. I’m about to let go of everything I’ve known with reason to change and updraft above me. I’m placing all that I’ve got in your hands knowing it’s the safest place of all. I’m spilling all my guts into your arms so hold me tight and never let go. I wouldn’t trade this deck for the world, there’s nothing in this place that I want more. I’m loving you with all my heart can give.

There was a sign that clearly read ‘You’re about to make a fucking mistake’ but somehow I didn’t see and I just walked past. What’s the point of being smart when your knowledge doesn’t count? What’s the use of knowing things when they’re useless after all? So I’m trying to make sense of situations that I found myself in and never out. It’s pathetic and worn out. I never listened to this nagging voice inside my head that said ‘You’re doing it wrong, you’re fucking doing it wrong!’. To be honest with this, I’d be lying if I claimed that I was someone I am not. Sometimes it’s easier to just run around in circles and never look for the truth but it’s always to be found at the bottom of your heart. In the color under your skin. In the blink of your eyes. In the twists of your thoughts and in the alleys of your mind. In the marks that you make. In the scars that you leave. In the wounds that you heal and in the stories they reveal. Well, maybe someday I will start to see things for what they really are. But for today let’s just keep this box closed tight. Do me a favor and stick around tonight.

As silence takes over I take a seat. Maybe this is the time to admit defeat. It seems like again nothing has changed, still everything has been rearranged. As I look in their eyes I start to see so many things ;I don’t want to be; just another one out of the line. I don’t want to live a dead man’s life.

Keeper 02:53
There’s a war going on inside of us all and it shows no mercy or offers relief to anyone. Memories are raging as we try to kill the doubts about what we have become and opportunities are catching our attention as we slowly find out about the intentions underneath. We are killing time just to realize that the seconds are not wasted but far too often despised by pulling someone else’s strings. The keepers of this day are already on their way home so watch out for the streetlights to safely guide you back. And never hesitate to take the road less travelled on. Keep the best of every moment that you’ve got. Keep everything in mind that you once forgot. Keep the ones you love right next to your heart and always keep yourself from falling apart.
